The Diocesan Committee on Nominations Invites Nominations for Diocesan Offices

The Diocesan Committee on Nominations is excited to inform you about leadership opportunities in the Diocese! At the 176th Diocesan Convention in October, convention delegates will be asked to elect two people to the Standing Committee (one lay and one ordained) and two people to the Executive Council (at least one must be lay), a Treasurer of the Diocese (lay or ordained), a Secretary of the Convention (lay or ordained), and eight deputies (four lay and four ordained) and eight alternates (four lay and four ordained) for the 82nd General Convention.  Information about these offices is outlined at this link.

 Nominations can be made by completing and submitting the nomination form by July 31, 2025. The nomination form is at this link.

Following the July 31, 2025 nomination deadline, by August 31, 2025, nominees will need to submit biographical information and sign an agreement to serve, if elected.  Nominees also will need to complete or be current on Safe Church training, and complete anti-racism training, before October 1, 2025, to be eligible to hold office.

¡El Comité Diocesano de Nominaciones se complace en informarle sobre las oportunidades de liderazgo en la Diócesis! En la 176ª Convención Diocesana en octubre, se les pedirá a las/los/les delegadas/os/es de la convención que elijan a dos personas para el Comité Permanente (un/a/e laico/a/e y otra/o/e ordenada/o/e) y dos personas para el Consejo Ejecutivo (al menos una de ellas debe ser laico/a/e), un Tesorero de la Diócesis (laica/o/e u ordenada/o/e), un/a/e Secretario/a/e de la Convención (laica/o/e u ordenada/o/e) y ocho diputades (cuatro laiques y cuatro ordenades) y ocho suplentes (cuatro laiques y cuatro ordenades) para la 82ª Convención General.
