Nominations are now open

The diocesan Committee on Nominations has opened nominations for positions to be elected at the 165th Convention of the Diocese of California ( to be held on Friday, October 17, and Saturday, October 18, 2014.

Serving the mission of the diocese in these offices is invaluable and we invite you to prayerfully consider whether you might be called to do so. Perhaps you know someone who has gifts that could be used in these roles, please consider nominating them.

The nominating process is electronic and you can find the Nomination Form here:

Deadline for all nominations is Tuesday, July 15.

Once nominated, a candidate will be asked to confirm that they wish to stand, provide a biography, and a digital photograph. Instructions on this process will be sent out to all nominated candidates as soon as their nomination is received by the committee. 

Deadline for all biographical information is Friday, August 15.

All nominees must be members in good standing in their parish and have completed Right Relationship and Anti-Racism training by the time they take up their posts. Right Relationship can be completed online and the next DioCal Anti-Racism Training event is taking place on Friday, September 19, and Saturday, September 20, at St Bartholomew’s, 678 Enos Way, Livermore — in plenty of time for the elections in October.
