Making an impact: DioCal’s influence at General Convention
The Diocese of California has had a hand in dozens of resolutions going up for consideration at July’s General Convention in Baltimore. To get a sense of just how hard our deputation has been working, and how big of a role our diocese will be playing at General Convention, take a look at the impressive list of resolutions (which is still growing!), compiled by Deputation Co-Chair Sarah Lawton.
Deputation
At our Diocesan Convention in 2019, we elected sixteen members to Diocese of California deputation. The deputation is comprised of eight deputies (four clergy/four lay) and eight alternates (four clergy/four lay). To follow our deputation’s work during the convention, please bookmark this page, and stay tuned for updates!
