Churches Offering Online Bible Studies

All Saints, San Leandro:

  • Mondays, 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Book study on The Restoration Project, by Christopher Martin, rector of St. Paul's, San Raphael (Kindle edition and Nook edition).
  • Wednesday, 5:30 – 6:30 PM, Bible Study on the Gospel of John.

Grace Cathedral, San Francisco:

Grace Church, Martinez:

  • Wednesday Morning Prayer service followed by Bible Study, 10 a.m. — Using the Good Book Club, they are studying the Gospel of Matthew alongside Episcopalians from all over the world. St. Aidan's, San Francisco:

  • Bible Study on the writings of the Apostle Paul, Wednesdays, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., following the 6:30 p.m. Evening Prayer.

St. Cuthbert's, Oakland:

  • 10 a.m Sunday: A Morning Prayer Service (Zoom)
  • 7 p.m. Wednesdays: Bible Study - the coming Sunday’s readings (Zoom)

St. James’, Fremont:

  • Wednesday Bible Study, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Using material from the Bible Project, we gather on Zoom to view a short video, read a piece of scripture, and discuss the scripture and some guiding questions. Everyone is welcome. Email the Rev. Lori Walton at lori@saintj.com for details.

St. James, San Francisco:

  • Tuesday Bible Study, noon to 1 p.m. on Zoom, Reflections on the “I Am” sayings in John’s Gospel. For information on how to join, please contact the Rev. John Kirkley at john@stjamessf.org.

St. Mark’s, Palo Alto:

  • Monday Night Bible Study, 7 p.m., Reading through the book of the Acts of the Apostles during the season of Easter. Acts describes the beginnings of the Church, a time of great turmoil and uncertainty. The Holy Spirit showed up for those early disciples in the midst of their fear, as they wrestled with forming community under new circumstances. We believe the Holy Spirit continues to show up for us now, and we will discuss and reflect on how the Holy Spirit might be moving in our lives.
