Honoring Asian American Pacific Islanders at The Vine

Description

Honoring Asian American Pacific Islanders at The Vine

Join us for this special Vine service and reception that celebrates the contributions, struggles and heritage of our Asian American and Pacific Islander Community. We have an amazing line-up of music, featuring award-winning songwriter, Tim Be Told, and up and coming Hip/Hop artist Son of Paper.

We will hear inspiring messages from activist and pastor Rev. Norman Fong, Deputy Director of the Chinatown Development Center; the Rev. Dr.  Peter Choi, Director of the Faith + Justice Network; the Rev. Canon Debbie Low-Skinner, Canon to the Ordinary for the Episcopal Diocese of California and former President of the Japanese American Religious Federation; and the Rev. Dr. Greg Kimura, Vice Dean of Grace Cathedral and past President and C.E.O. of the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles and the Alaska Humanities Forum.

To top it all off we’ll celebrate with light bites from some our most beloved SF AAPI eateries!
