End of Life and Estate Planning Lenten Series

The Episcopal Church of the Nativity in San Rafael invites you to its Lenten Series: In the midst of life we are in death. 

Five Monday Evening sessions on Zoom from 5:30-6:30 beginning February 27th and concluding on March 27th.

The series outline:

2/27 Death Cafe Gathering in a directed discussion about death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session.  Facilitated by Chloe Martin, Ph.D., a clinical psychologist in private practice in Marin County.

3/6 What Spiritual Gifts do we leave behind?   A directed discussion about the wisdom and guidance, wishes and promises we leave to the church–both to specific people in our families or our congregations and to our church as a whole.

3/13 Telling the stories of those who have come before  A session dedicated to remembering and telling about the people who loved and supported us, who built our church, who changed and shaped our faith.

3/20 Wills, trusts and advanced health care directives  A workshop with an estate planning attorney or diocesan staff.

3/27 Planning a burial service with resources

Members from any congregation are welcome to attend, listen, learn, and share.
