What Do You Expect?
An Advent Bible Study for the Diocese of California
For clergy, congregational leaders, area ministry teams, commission on ministry members, and their friends
“What Do You Expect?” brings together three simple Bible study practices, tailored for the renewal of ministry in the Diocese of California. You are invited to join other church leaders in your area for three small-group meetings this Advent. At each meeting your group will explore ancient Biblical stories in new ways by discussing scripture, telling stories, and praying together.

Encountering Our Story
LifeCycles Christian Transformation in Community
This six-session small group study of scripture and tradition is the first unit of flexible 4+ year program for comprehensive ministry development (including scripture, theology, prayer practice and leadership skills) which was developed in collaboration with several "Total Ministry" dioceses and the Episcopal Divinity School, and updated for Diocese of California congregations and Area Ministry teams. Its easily led by anyone with small group skills, although the Diocese of California is offering facilitator training (insert link to flier again).
